Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30, 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is a popular American artist, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. The stage name is the combined name of his favorite uncle who has the first name and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his idol Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major-label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, as well as a publishing contract with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April of 2013. The singer also signed a recording agreement with Epic and T.I. Scott's first full length project, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape), was self-released in 2013. It was followed with another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first album of studio work. It featured the hit song "Antidote". The album that followed called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number one album on the Billboard 200. Scott continued to release albums that year, including an album with a name of Huncho Jack Huncho and was released under the name Huncho Jack. His third studio album Astroworld was also received acclaim by critics. The album also produced his debut Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. In the latter part of 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. After the single "Franchise" featuring Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it topped the Billboard 200. Scott was the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs hit the top spot within a mere decade in 2020.
